Niels and I were witness to a short baseball game on Thursday night. Really short. It only took the Nationals two hours and four minutes to defeat the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-2. Odalis Perez pitched 7 strong innings, allowing only two runs. Austin Kearns drove in Cristian Guzman in the bottom of the eighth inning for the winning run.
